[Launch] FIELDNOTES Issue 3

Join us for the launch of the third issue of FIELDNOTES a biannual arts journal publishing new writing and artworks with a focus on practices that work between disciplines and against type. To celebrate we will be screening the short film CASTOROCENE by Alexander Hetherington and George Finlay Ramsay. The screening will be followed by a virtual reading from the poet CAConrad who will be reading their text from Issue 3 of FIELDNOTES, written in response to the film.

The podcast features Cinderella's Diaries, a project by Brussels based artist and researcher Sina Seifee, with readings by Bryana Fritz. Over the last few years Sina has been working on fairy tales, zoologies and the participation of animals in texts. [Reading] LES WITTIGS: a collective reading

Join us for a collective reading of Monique Wittig's epic novel Les Guérillères (1969) as a part of the first edition of Lesbiennale, Lesbian* Arts Festival. Together we will read an annotated version of the entire 144 pages of the novel, translated to english in 1971 by David La Vay.
